Soul Tide Is the Latest Gacha Game to Announce Its EOS
Soul Tide, the enchanting dungeon crawler from IQI Games and LemcnSun Entertainment, is nearing the end of its journey. After two years and ten months since its global mobile launch, the game's End of Service (EOS) has been announced.
Soul Tide's End of Service Date
The official shutdown date for Soul Tide is February 28th, 2025. As of now, the game is no longer available for download on the Play Store, and in-app purchases have been disabled. Players are encouraged to use any remaining in-game resources before the server closure, as all game data will be permanently deleted upon shutdown.
Before the final curtain call, Soul Tide will receive one last content update, offering a special send-off for its loyal players. Details about this final update will be revealed soon; follow the official X account for the latest news.
A Look Back at Soul Tide
Soul Tide offered a unique blend of genres: a turn-based dungeon crawler combining anime-style character collection, home simulation, and dungeon exploration. Initially launched in Japan in 2021, the game was set in a fantasy world threatened by powerful witches, incorporating elements of dating sims and roguelite gameplay.
Upon its release, Soul Tide garnered positive reviews, praised for its engaging gameplay and charming, storybook-inspired visuals. Unlike many gacha games, the characters in Soul Tide possessed significant depth and personality.
However, challenges arose over time, including less-than-ideal gacha rates, a somewhat clunky user interface, and inconsistencies in translation. These factors ultimately contributed to the game's decline.
While the game is nearing its end, you can still access it on the Google Play Store if you wish to utilize any remaining resources.
