How To Study a Historical Display in The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event
Week 2 of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event presents a puzzling obstacle: the Historical Display. This guide explains how to overcome this challenge and complete the associated quest.
Locating the Display:
The Week 2 quest requires studying a Historical Display, found within a museum. Experienced players likely know their local museum's location. New players should consult their in-game map, searching for the pillar icon representing museums. While four exist, the Municipal Museum (Willow Creek) and The Future's Past (Oasis Springs) are conveniently located near other event tasks.
Completing the Quest:
Upon entering a museum, locate either a painting or sculpture (both qualify as Historical Displays). Select the item and choose the "View" option. Successful completion is indicated by the appearance of the Emit icon.
Troubleshooting:
Many players report difficulties, often attributed to mods interfering with the "View" function. If encountering this issue, temporarily disabling mods might resolve the problem. If the problem persists, attempting to view multiple items in different museums is recommended. Hopefully, EA will address this bug soon.
Related Quests (Week 2):
