TD Game Inspired by GeoDefense Launches Globally
Sphere Defense: A Classic Tower Defense Experience on Android
Tomnoki Studio's Sphere Defense is a new tower defense game for Android, drawing inspiration from the classic geoDefense by David Whatley. The developer, a fan of the original, has recreated the beautifully simple yet challenging gameplay for a new generation.
The Game's Story
Earth, or "The Sphere," faces imminent destruction from alien invaders. Humanity, forced underground, has developed new technology to fight back. After years of setbacks, they're finally ready to launch a counteroffensive, and you'll lead the charge to save the planet.
Gameplay
Sphere Defense offers a classic tower defense experience. You deploy various units, each with unique strengths, to defend against waves of enemies. Eliminating enemies earns you resources to upgrade and expand your defenses. The difficulty increases the strategic challenge.
The game features three difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard), each with 10 stages lasting 5 to 15 minutes. See the game in action:
Diverse Units and Strategic Deployment
Sphere Defense includes seven unit types, offering strategic depth. Attack units include the Standard Attack Turret (single-target), Area Attack Turret (area-of-effect), and Piercing Attack Turret (for linear enemy formations). Support units such as the Cooling Turret and Incendiary Turret enhance your offensive capabilities. Finally, specialized attack units like the Fixed-Point Attack Unit (precise missile strikes) and the Linear Attack Unit (satellite laser) provide additional options.
Download Sphere Defense from the Google Play Store and experience this engaging tower defense game. Also, check out our latest news on CarX Drift Racing 3 and its new features.
