The Lycan is based on a story by Jane and screenwriter David James Kelly (Logan), scripted by Mike Carey (Lucifer, The Unwritten), with art by Diego Yapur, colors by D.C. Alonso, and lettering by AndWorld Design. Tim Bradstreet (Punisher MAX, Hellblazer) provides the covers.

Here's Comixology's official description of The Lycan #1:

1777: A seasoned group of international big-game hunters, returning from Africa, are shipwrecked off a small British island. To secure repairs and resupply their ship, The Calydonian, they accept a commission from Lord Ludgate: hunt and destroy the monstrous beasts terrorizing his people, including a convent of young Benedictine nuns.

The Lycan #1 launches digitally on Tuesday, February 18th, exclusively on Comixology Originals. A print collection from Ablaze Comics will follow the series' completion.
