Ubisoft Japan Crowns Ezio as Most Beloved 'Assassin's Creed' Hero
Ubisoft Japan's 30th Anniversary Character Awards Crowns Ezio Auditore!
Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the iconic Assassin's Creed protagonist, has emerged victorious in Ubisoft Japan's recent Character Awards! This online competition, celebrating Ubisoft Japan's three decades of game development, saw fans voting for their top three favorite characters across all Ubisoft titles. The voting period, which ran from November 1st, 2024, concluded with Ezio claiming the top spot.
To celebrate Ezio's win, Ubisoft Japan has unveiled exclusive celebratory content. This includes a specially created illustration of Ezio in a unique art style, and four free downloadable wallpapers for PCs and smartphones. Furthermore, a lucky draw will award 30 fans with an Ezio acrylic stand set, and 10 exceptionally fortunate individuals will receive a massive 180cm Ezio body pillow!
The top ten characters were revealed, with Ezio leading the pack, followed by Aiden Pearce (Watch Dogs) in second and Edward Kenway (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag) in third. The complete top ten is as follows:

In a separate poll for most popular game franchises, Assassin's Creed also secured first place, surpassing Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs. The Division and Far Cry followed in fourth and fifth place respectively.
