Warframe: 1999 reveals Techrot Encore release date with more content and characters
The Warframe universe is set to expand with the highly anticipated 1999's Techrot Encore update, slated for release on March 19th. This exciting update introduces four new Protoframes—Flare, Minerva, Kaya, and Velimir II—alongside the 60th Warframe, Temple. Temple comes equipped with Techrot Subwoofer minions and a sapient guitar named Lizzie, promising to add a unique flair to your gameplay.
For those who relish a challenge, Techrot Encore also brings two new endgame stages. In Stage Defense, players will protect Scaldra during a memorial show commemorating fallen comrades. Temporal Archimedea challenges players to team up with Minerva and Velimir II for three consecutive random missions, with the Peely Pix system dynamically adjusting modifiers to keep the action fresh and unpredictable.
Frame jobA heartwarming addition to the update is the Atomicycle racing mini-game, Ollie's Crash Course, introduced at the Höllvania Mall Hub arcade. This mini-game is a tribute to James Conlin and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, adding a special touch to the Warframe community.
As we approach Tennocon 2025 and the relaunch of the upgraded Warframe Companion App's open beta, there's no shortage of excitement for Warframe fans this March.
