Following the success of Sky: Children of the Light's Lunar New Year event, World of Warships Legends adds its own festive flair to January. Sun Wukong, the iconic character from Journey to the West, takes center stage.

This update includes not only the Lunar New Year event but also a campaign featuring the French Tier VII Premium battleship Picardie. The event introduces Sun Wukong as a commander available for all nations, alongside his Pan-Asian Tier VII Premium cruiser, the Wukong, and numerous skins inspired by Journey to the West characters.
