War of Empires (WOE) is a real-time strategy mobile game focused on fast-paced, competitive (PvP) matches.

War of Empires (WOE) is a real-time strategy mobile game built for competitive player-versus-player action. One player can host a match for others to join, where all units and buildings are under direct player control for maximum strategic freedom.

Main Elements:

WOE features 18 powerful medieval empires to command, including China, Japan, Persia, the Teutons, Mongols, Goths, Maya, and more.

Each empire commands 8 common unit types and 1 unique unit. The standard units are universal across all factions, while the unique unit defines an empire's specialty—like Mongolian Riders, Persian War Elephants, or Spanish Conquistadors.

The regular units include:

1. Swordsman: A common, all-purpose infantry unit.

2. Pikeman: Weak against arrows but highly effective against Cavalry.

3. Archer: Vulnerable to Cavalry but strong against Pikemen.

4. Light Cavalry: A fast, mobile unit perfect for raiding and harassment.

5. Ram: A siege unit specialized for attacking buildings.

…

Buildings: Structures include the Tower, Turret, Castle, Blacksmith, and more.

1. Tower: Primarily an offensive structure. Garrisoning 5 Villagers enables the Tower to fire 6 arrows simultaneously.

2. Turret: Designed mainly to destroy enemy buildings.

…

Every empire has distinct strengths and weaknesses. For full details, explore them in-game. Here is a brief overview:

1. Huns: Do not need to build Houses, saving significant time. Their Cavalry costs 20% fewer resources and can be upgraded to Rangers.

2. Teutons: Their infantry is exceptionally powerful, reminiscent of historical Spartan warriors, but they are slower-moving.

…

Highlights:

Core Gameplay: After a match begins, manage these priorities simultaneously:

1. Develop Economy: Continuously produce Villagers to gather resources (Note: Town Centers and Towers can provide temporary shelter for them).

2. Harass Enemies: Early in the game, train a small force to disrupt enemy Villagers and gain an early advantage.

3. Destroy Your Opponents.

Successful play requires teamwork. Cooperate with allies to form legions, defeat larger enemy forces, and protect valuable high-damage, low-health allied units.

Mastering unit counters and cooperation is essential:

Understand each unit's role. Key examples include:

1. Pikemen counter Cavalry.

2. Cavalry counter Archers.

3. Archers counter Pikemen.

4. Camel Riders counter Cavalry.

5. The Koryo War Wagon counter other ranged units.

…

Game Modes:

Two primary resources exist: Food and Gold. Advance your civilization through ages—Dark Age, Feudal Age, Castle Age, and Imperial Age—by upgrading your Town Center. Each age unlocks new technologies, buildings, and units.

The full gameplay offers deep complexity. For simplicity, common matches use one of four main modes:

1. Normal Mode: Resources are limited, emphasizing early economic development. You can send small raiding parties early on. This mode is challenging but highly engaging.

2. Imperial Deathmatch Mode: Start in the Imperial Age with a large stockpile of resources, allowing for immediate, large-scale battles.

…

Main Features:

This game has been live in China for over 4 years and has evolved through dozens of updates to its current 1.8.n version. Key implemented features include:

1. Player vs. CPU

2. Online Multiplayer

3. Spectator Mode

4. Replay System

5. Map Editor

6. Guilds (Legions)

7. Friends List

8. Chat System
