Extracting Items in R.E.P.O.: A Guide
In the thrilling co-operative horror game *R.E.P.O.*, your mission is clear: retrieve valuable items and survive the onslaught of monsters that spawn randomly across each location. Successfully escaping with your loot not only grants you a sense of achievement but also rewards you with cash to spend on essential survival gear, all while keeping the menacing AI Taxman at bay.
To secure your haul, you must reach the Extraction Point where your C.A.R.T of treasures is assessed, and the Taxman determines your next move. With each successful extraction, you'll find yourself better equipped to handle the challenges ahead, turning what initially feels like a daunting task into a manageable routine as you progress through levels and confront more formidable monsters.
How to Extract in R.E.P.O.
In your initial foray into *R.E.P.O.*, you'll encounter just one Extraction Point. As you advance to new locations, this number can increase up to a maximum of four. Keep an eye on the red number in the right-hand corner of your screen to track how many drop-offs you need to complete and how many you've already accomplished.
After depositing your first C.A.R.T.-full, you'll need to navigate the level as usual, but without knowing the Taxman's demands or the location of the next drop-off. This is where your in-game map becomes invaluable. By pressing "Tab" on your keyboard, you can view unexplored areas, helping you plan your routes and, if playing with others, coordinate to cover more ground efficiently.
After completing the required number of extractions, you'll either move on to the next point or attempt to return to your truck unscathed. Remember, after the final extraction, you don't need to bring the C.A.R.T back to the truck; a new one will be available at the next location or level.
Now that you're well-versed in the art of extraction in *R.E.P.O.*, be sure to explore our other guides for more tips and strategies to enhance your gameplay experience.
