In a recent interview, Mizobe discussed the hurdles in bringing Palworld to the Switch. He acknowledged the significant technical differences between the PC and Switch platforms. While discussions about new platforms are ongoing, no announcements are imminent.

Despite the demanding PC specifications, Mizobe remains optimistic about expanding Palworld's reach to other platforms. He previously stated the high PC requirements present a significant technical challenge for a Switch port.

Future platform releases (PlayStation, mobile, etc.) remain unconfirmed. Earlier this year, Mizobe confirmed explorations into additional platforms but offered no specifics. He also clarified that while Pocketpair is open to partnerships and acquisitions, there are no current buyout discussions with Microsoft.

Mizobe also shared his vision for the game's multiplayer aspect. The upcoming arena mode, described as an experiment, is a step towards more extensive multiplayer experiences. He expressed a desire to incorporate elements reminiscent of Ark and Rust, emphasizing a robust PvP mode with deeper survival and social interaction mechanics.

Ark and Rust, both known for their challenging environments, intricate resource management, and extensive player interaction (alliances, tribes, etc.), serve as inspiration for Mizobe's vision.
