Dead by Daylight Eyes The Thing, Cujo as New Killers

The Ultimate Horror Collection Grows
While Five Nights at Freddy's finally makes its debut in Dead by Daylight, Behaviour Interactive isn't resting on its laurels. The development team recently shared their ultimate wishlist of horror legends during an exclusive interview with IGN.
"I've been obsessed with getting The Thing into Dead by Daylight since joining the team," reveals Killer Designer Jason Guzzo, whose impressive resume includes bringing Chucky, Dracula and Springtrap to the game. Despite repeatedly pitching the idea during his two and half years at Behaviour, Guzzo clarifies this isn't confirmation of future content - just passionate fan dreaming.
Design Challenges Behind Horror's Greatest Creatures
The developer acknowledges the technical hurdles of adapting John Carpenter's shape-shifting alien antagonist into playable form. "Transforming killers pose unique design problems," Guzzo admits, "but that's exactly why I'm determined to crack this puzzle eventually."
Creative Director Dave Richard echoes this enthusiasm for horror's greatest villains while teasing some unconventional possibilities: "Imagine Cujo the rabid dog chasing survivors - or even Christine, Stephen King's killer car! We joke about these concepts, but never say never."
With Dead by Daylight approaching its ninth anniversary, Behaviour continues pushing boundaries. The upcoming Five Nights at Freddy's chapter arrives June 17th featuring Springtrap and his eerie pizzeria domain - just the latest in a growing roster of horror icons finding new life in the asymmetric survival experience.
